Drug interactions

Prescribed diuretics: a water-moving herbal formula may add to their effect, so check with the prescriber first (theoretical; no clinical study of the combination was found)
Warfarin and other anticoagulants: the evidence concerns ginger in general and is weak and inconsistent; a controlled volunteer study showed no effect on warfarin, while one case report described excessive anticoagulation with phenprocoumon.
