  • Nosebleed or coughing of blood appearing suddenly a day or two before the period begins
  • Scanty or clotted menstrual flow with abdominal pain
  • Red face, thirst, and sleeplessness with a burning feeling behind the breastbone
  • Tongue red with little coat; pulse thready and rapid

Nourishes the Blood

  • Heat in the Blood around menstruation with reduced flow
