caution Its bitter, cold herbs can harm Spleen and Stomach Yang when not indicated; use it for the acute bleeding episode rather than long term
caution Heavy or prolonged uterine bleeding should be checked by a clinician for structural or systemic causes; herbs go alongside that care, not instead of it
