  • Damp-Heat lodged in the Bladder
  • Frequent, urgent urination that is painful or dribbles, or stops suddenly mid-stream
  • Sand or stones passed in the urine; urine turbid, scanty or absent
  • Nausea, vomiting and fever
  • Stone in the bladder: blood in the urine and blocked flow
  • Stone in the kidney: urine slightly bloody and the kidney enlarged
  • Stone in the ureter: slightly bloody urine
  • Stone in the urethra: pain in the penis
  • Damp-Heat pouring downward may add fever, thirst, dry mouth and low back pain
  • Damp-Heat crystallizing in the Bladder may add colicky low back pain that can spread to the groin
  • Tongue red or normal with a yellow or sticky yellow coat; pulse slippery and rapid, deep and wiry, or rolling
