Promotes urination and relieves painful urinary dysfunction

Damp-Heat Lin, particularly Stone Lin and Blood Lin
Edema without Lin symptoms, as a supporting herb
Of special help when either problem comes with constipation

Benefits the breasts and promotes lactation

Scant breast milk, swollen and painful breasts, and breast abscess in its early stage

Moistens the Intestines and unblocks the bowels

Constipation from dry Intestines lacking Fluids or Yin, rather than from Qi stagnation

caution Loose stools or diarrhea from Spleen deficiency or Cold; its cold, slippery nature loosens the bowels further
pregnancy Pregnancy: use with caution and only under a qualified practitioner, because it moves things downward
caution Buy from a supplier who names the botanical species, not only the trade name, as substitution occurs
