contraindication Any heavy or spontaneous sweating, including sweating from Wei Qi, Qi or Blood deficiency, or from Exterior deficiency, since it opens the pores forcefully

caution Debilitated or elderly patients: use under a qualified practitioner, as strong sweating depletes fluids
