Cimicifuga
Sheng Ma (升麻) is the rhizome of cimicifuga, the bugbane, recorded as Rhizoma Cimicifugae. Measles in its early stage where the rash has not fully come out, with fever, and fairly superficial Yang Ming disorders; opens the pores to vent rashes in Wind-Heat patterns where Heat toxin has damaged Stomach Fluids, with fever, chills, headache and thirst
