Platycodon Root

Opens Lung Qi, expels Phlegm, relieves toxicity and drains pus, for Wind-Heat with a productive cough, a hoarse voice and a swollen, painful throat. Lung abscess with chest and flank pain and coughing up of pus. Excess conditions of the Upper Jiao while the Lower Jiao is unaffected
