Bing Lang (槟榔) is the areca nut, the seed of a palm, recorded as Semen Arecae and known in English as betel nut. It is acrid and bitter in flavour, warm in temperature, enters the Stomach and Large Intestine channels, and is filed among the herbs that kill parasites.
