contraindication A floating, forceful pulse
contraindication Excess Heat, Yin deficiency with blazing Fire, or an Exterior pattern not yet released: this warm, astringent formula can aggravate Heat or hold the pathogen in
caution Marked Dampness (greasy coat, heaviness, distention) or a weak Spleen: the mineral shells are a burden to digest and can loosen the stools
caution With tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones, bisphosphonates, levothyroxine or iron supplements: the calcium in Long Gu and Mu Li can bind these and cut their absorption, so space doses at least two hours apart

Preparation

Decoction; crush the Long Gu and Mu Li and boil them first, then add the other five herbs
