Cautions

contraindication Soft swellings of the scrotum or elsewhere
contraindication Acute red, hot, infected or ulcerated swelling, or clear Heat signs: its warming herbs such as Rou Gui would add Heat
caution Once swellings have ulcerated, suitable topical treatment is needed as well, or instead
caution A moving, dispersing formula: reassess before long-term use once the acute pattern has settled
pregnancy Only with professional guidance, because of the Blood-moving Tao Ren and Yan Hu Suo and the warming Rou Gui

Preparation

Wine-bound pills made from the powdered herbs; a decoction acts faster and more strongly. Applied externally as well when the scrotum has ulcerated
