Dang Gui Bu Xue Tang, Tangkuei Decoction to Tonify the Blood, is a formula of two herbs, Huang Qi and Dang Gui, classed among those that tonify Qi and Blood. The record holds it for want of Blood, commonly in the wake of a heavy bleed, where a weak Qi lets a deficiency fever float up.
