  • Severe epigastric and abdominal pain that likes pressure, with a cold body and aversion to cold
  • Cold limbs that are stiff or rigid; clenched jaw; fainting in some cases
  • Constipation of the Cold type; spasms of the stomach
  • Tongue pale and perhaps moist, coat white; pulse slow, deep and minute
