  • Yin Deficiency of the Kidney, or of the Liver and Kidney, with flaring Fire
  • Dizziness, light-headedness and vertigo; tinnitus, dulled hearing or deafness
  • Sore, weak or numb lower back and knees, weak limbs and muscles, and pain in the heels
  • Loose teeth, toothache, and swollen, painful gums that are pale red
  • Dry mouth, tongue and skin; thirst; long-standing dry, sore throat
  • Wasting-thirst (xiao ke)
